If you have ever worked on a DBX amplifier you'd pick the H/K.

The Citation has a very good reputation.
The 16A has a silver push button on/off, no?If that's a picture of the amp you're looking at it's a Citation 16a, so even better.

Maybe not incredible, but very, very good. I just had mine serviced, and the driver boards recapped(I had previously replaced the big filter caps) and it sounds excellent. If I hadn't fallen into a pair of L-09Ms I believe I could be happy with the big Citation and call it good. The 16 is a good amp. I like it, worth the experience. Incredible is too strong a word for it, though.
The DBX looks interesting but I'd rather try the BX-1.

I had a pair of 16s that I bridged and ended up shipping to Hong Kong. If you really like them, two bridged is much better. They are made to be so.Maybe not incredible, but very, very good. I stand corrected on the picture, I looked at it on my phone earlier and that looked like a push button. You are 100 percent correct sir.
I thought about that, or picking up a second Citation 22 and running two of those bridged because they're cheap and pretty darn good amps. Then I found the Kenwoods. They are everything I ever wanted and more than I will ever need. Currently they are being gone through and when they come back the big Citation will be relegated to a secondary system again. Do you still own the Citation XX? That's my holy grail amp right there, but then again so was the 16, and the L-09Ms. Lol!I had a pair of 16s that I bridged and ended up shipping to Hong Kong. I currently have the XX up in CAM. I've been kidnapped over to the other team. My current system consists of Acoustat Monitor 3 with DD servo charge OTL monos. These are driven directly by the amps. I also have a pair of 'Model' 3 with interfaces that are driven with what have you. The panels are the same in both so a good comparison test bed. The OTLs directly driving the ESLs are too good to put aside. They are better than anything else I've heard. Incredible?...hmm..initially yes. Now that I've gotten used to them they're just very impressive, every time I turn them on.I thought about that, or picking up a second Citation 22 and running two of those bridged because they're cheap and pretty darn good amps. Not much to speak of compared to a lot of others here. I focus on vintage hi end, it's what I can afford. But it lets me in on what the buzz is. Some of it is second to none, available to all(SHHHH)You play way above my pay grade sir. Kudos!
