DDA QII MIXER OUTPUT ISSUE

Hello all. I have a beautiful DDA QII mixing console that has one issue. When listening to anything through the board the left channel tends to cut in and out sporadically. It happens quite often and doesn't seem to matter what input channel or source so I suspect an issue with tbe master module. Anyone have some experience with this sort of thing? Also I am wondering if I send just the master module to a repair shop can they adequately work on it? It is a big mixer 5ftx3ft and VERY HEAVY so I really do not want to send in the entire thing! BTW it has a repaired power supply and everything else seems to work.
Annoying of course as I cannot really work with it in this condition.
The good news is the boards are all discrete through-hole components and nicely marked on the pcb's.

Call the repair shop and ask them. I would think that they'll need to whole unit (entire board) to insure that they trace down the problem to the correct source of the issue. Do you have a repair manual for the board? Having that will help the tech a great deal. DDA's are great - I had one for a while - really nice and great sounding mix console. Best of luck on your quest to get it up and running correctly :-)
