Delmonico Model 1025 Console wiring question

I'm repairing this vintage phonograph/radio console, just needed new rectifier tubes, now reassembling. There's a green/black ground wire coming from the turntable (cartridge I assume) and I can't remember where it attaches. This unit has a hot chassis so I want to be sure. Thanks for any help!

usually those go from amp chassis to the chassis of the turntable. Can't land that on a hot chassis amp though unless you want the turntable bonded to line cord where its rather likely to shock someone. Wild guess, but there may be a terminal somewhere with a capacitor to chassis ground where that is meant to connect.

So after searching for a terminal with a cap somewhere without success, I threw a voltmeter between the ground wire and the chassis. 3 volts. Touching the wire to the chassis made the 60 hz hum disappear and nothing melted or burst into flames... Problem solved. Thanks for the suggestions!

what does it read from the turntable chassis to an actual ground though ? Don't want to touch the changer and get lit up.
