i have a dp-35f . i like it , i think it sounds good in my system (ps 4.7 pre, amber70, L-112s) i have a signet tk-3 on it , which is an excellent choice for this TT.

It sounds good then? Does it auto anti-skating? I don't see an option in the manual.

Your thread title is DP-35F and in your first post you're asking about a Denon DP-23F. Which is it?

If it's a DP-35F, the anti-skate is set automatically when you set the tracking force.

In looking at the DP-23F manual I don't see anti-skate mentioned, but since the TF is set exactly the same way as with the 35F, I'd assume that it is automatically set as well. This tt came out later and I'm guessing they didn't even bother mentioning anti-skate as the target audience wouldn't know what it was anyway.

I have no idea. I'd guess it's similar to the DP-35F.

I picked this one up about 6 months ago, (I assume we are talking about the 35) and love it. I had owned one many many moons ago, if memory serves it was a DP1000 or something like that (too many substances consumed back then) So I thoroughly expected it to be lacking all plasticky and such, but I was pleasently surprised I never ever use an auto start feature on a turntable but with this one it is so precise, I am comfortable with it. Running an AT29SX and ADC XLM IV. The thing was beaten severely yet works flawlessly.
