Yes, repair is possible. You will notice that the new B&W series comes with a mesh grill to protect what looks like to kids a "button" that needs to be pressed.
Use painter's tape for delicate surfaces and stick it to the tweeter and pull. Start gently and give it a quick snap.
You can the get it back to almost normal with a quick dab with the tape here and there.
While not perfect, it will still sound excellent and it might even eventually stop bothering you that it was damaged. This may take some time and hand holding here at AK, but I swear it will be OK one day.

It's probably the actual diaphragm not a dust cap, pretty sure B&W has replacement diaphragms available so you could just swap in a new one. I'd just try and remove the tweeter; disassemble and push the dome out from behind, gently massaging out any wrinkles, it will never be perfect but it should still sound ok.
