If you start a new thread in the Do-It-Yourself forum the thread will appear in the list of new posts on the home page, at least for a while. If you can word your title and content in a way that encourages member replies, the thread will float to the top more often so that it will be seen by more members. Certainly as time goes on, any new or updated product or video would be an ideal subject for a new thread that will naturally lead to more exposure.

You could also start a thread in the D.I.Y. Forum to solicit member suggestions for new thread topics for you. I bet that you will receive a lot of good suggestions from AK members.
  • New product suggestions like the one mentioned above
  • Do's and Dont's
  • Success stories
  • Problems encountered -- you can provide answers or suggestions
  • Unusual product applications.
I have a good one that I learned right here on AK. Someone mentioned spraying FaderLube on stubborn 110VAC plugs and receptacles. I had a few of those stubborn receptacles in my home that I had not gotten around to replacing. A quick shot of FaderLube and they work fine again. That was several years ago. I will still replace them -- someday, I suppose.

I should add that a lot of our members and your customers may be familiar with DeoxIT and FaderLube but they may not know much about all of the other great products that carry the Craig brand. Introducing or telling the story about an existing product very well may be brand new information to a lot of people here and elsewhere. Please dont hesitate to inform us about your excellent quality line of products. One at a time is fine with me and it helps to keep it interesting!

I'd sure love it if I could get my Caig fix from vendor Mouser Electronics! Even Digikey would be good.
Thank you so much for the input! We tried with Mouser Electronics & DigiKey back in 2008/2009 but they weren't interested at that time. I will talk to our Sales Manager about this and maybe we can revisit them and try to get DeoxIT to them. Our newest distributors are True Value, they ordered these items so far:
  1. DeoxIT D5 Spray # D5S-6
  2. DeoxIT 100% liquid brush applicator # D100L-2DB
  3. DeoxIT 100% liquid needle dispenser # D100L-25C
  4. DeoxIT Gold 100% liquid brush applicator # G100L-2DB
  5. DeoxIT Gold 100% liquid squeeze tube: G100L-2C
  6. Audio/Video Survival Kit # SK-AV35
  7. CircuitWriter Pen # CW100P
  8. CaiKote 44 Kit # K-CK44-G
You can ask your local True Value stores for availability :)

Wow thank you very much for your valuable input! Very good suggestions! We certainly would like to be more active in this great forum by posting regularly and reply to any questions related to us and our products.
We just started to create more educational videos and contents and right now we post them on our Facebook page, DeoxIT Official Facebook Group & our YouTube channel.
We will create thread one at a time, and hopefully we can continue to grow.
Again, thank you for your help!

I voted; thanks!

It is bit harder to get Deoxit in Canada, at a reasonable price at least. Hopefully we can see it here in more places.

Tip for the awkward spots: some 2mm silicone hose (same stuff I use for Dual steuerpimpels) over the regular tube can be added on in sections as long as you need, and it's very flexible of course.

AT last, the dual straw pictures. I put the two together with heatshrink and added a second longer piece of heatshrink after that.

I've made extensions with just shrink tube.
If the end of the shrink tube gets shrunken, it makes it a great dribble tube.

I have also inserted a wire, heated the tube and bent it into a hook. Works great getting into hard to reach pots.
