I've been a Deoxit user for years, for cleaning potentiometers and switches in my vintage electronics, and the L-pads in my vintage speakers.

I also order most of my capacitors for recapping speaker crossovers from Parts Connexion.

That's a variation on my idea that I have thought of but not had to do yet. You get the extra length and the flexibility but can still control the tip. Works well for keeping the can upright while spraying into an area where otherwise you might have to try running it upside down.

Thanks for that information, I'll be in touch because Jaycar (it's like an Aussie radio Shack) only has the small two-in-one packs.

De-oxit is almost the holy water of the forum. :)
 
Around here, DeOxit has taken its place among the ubiquitous verbs and names, such as coke for soda, bandaids, etc. Around here, cleaning switches and pots is specified as DeOxiting them.

I too am pleased with your products. I have used them on my equipment, my house and my car. The product line is very versatile. Just for your information, Faderlube is also useful as a lubrication for stiff locks. My sliding door locks were really difficult to lock and unlock. A little Faderlube on the key and the open and close was as slick as any lock I have used. That was over two years ago and the locks are still smooth as can be. Thanks again for some great products.

Seriously it's great that you would give back to the customers who buy your products. I've used DeoxIt and think it does a fine job.

I'm scheming to win the second giveaway if you are going by popular vote!! I've got a couple cans of D5 and one of the older MCL (now DeoxIT Faderlube) so voted for what I needed. But I'm sure the winner(s) will be happy and use whatever they receive. We talk about DeoxIT products on some car boards, too. Sure the engine runs on gas, well most do, but nothing happens if the electrical connections are not DeoxIT clean.
