Im here, still enjoying my gear, though, as much as i work, i dont get to listen as much. Im not fond of moving my titanic amplifiers around these days. Dont really do alot of projects like i used to either.

Most of the Tyler and Lindale folks look to have bailed several years ago. Any way to check to see if they are still active on other forums, or update the list?

I think I’ll leave the list intact...unless someone gets banned. I went inactive on AK for about four years., so those who have gone silent may one day return (as I did).

We have a new addition (but not necessarily a new face)...thanks for adding yourself to the list, "corpblues" (David from The Colony).
So anyone else that hasn't seen this and wants on the list, chime up!

You going to add me Michael? (UP Two ^^), :)

Looking for someone that can repair vintage Telefunken Tube Console in the DFW area. Recommendations?

Maybe try Ft. Worth Audio on Vickery or DFW Vintage Audio in Hurst. There was a guy on the E side of FTW that operated out of the upstairs storage room of a church that I've used for tube electronics repair that had a bunch of vintage tube radios sitting around...but I can't find any evidence that he's still in business. His name was Mike.

Hi guys, Maybe we could tell a little about our Audio Systems , Projects or Plans, what do you think? ?

I guess I'll start. I'm only interested in Marantz for the simple reason that that is what I had when I was young, and I'm kind of reliving my youth by getting the equipment I couldn't afford in those days. I buy them in need of repair and do full restorations on them. Right now, I have the 2270 and 2325 receivers on display as well as the 1200 integrated amp and 125 tuner. Also, I have restored a 5020 cassette deck. The rack is home built, and is a modification of a plan I found in the DIY section here on AK. Speakers are Klipsch Fortes with Crites upgrades and JBL L100's. The only thing that is original from my youth is the Dual 1229 turntable, which has been completely rebuilt after sitting on a top shelf in my garage for 25 years with no dust cover.
