dial pointer lamp QR 6500

Has anyone ever replaced the dial pointer lamp in a Sansui QR 6500? Are they available? Thanks

Don't know about that exact receiver but I've used 3mm ultrabright LEDs in my Sansui receivers. Use with a resistor to get the voltage down. Get a pack pretty cheap on Ebay.

Takes a "grain of wheat" lamp. Member Djwogo can help you. Very small, may be hard to do unless you are patient and good steady hands. I may have spelled his name wrong, I will check for you so PM me if I did.
