Dick Wagner RIP

Wagner passed yesterday. The long time guitarist for Lou Reed and Alice Cooper was 71. I searched for another thread on his passing but I didn't find one. Kind of surprising. RIP Dick.

That's a shame, the twin leads with The Deacon were archetypal arena rock.
RIP, Dick

The guitar work in RnR Animal is one of my favorite leads of all

I just found RnR Animal on LP atGW

RIP

And Alice Cooper now has a Thrift Store here in Phoenix

My older brother was a fan of The Frost, so he was on my radar at an early age.
As noted, the guitar work with Steve Hunter on RnR Animal was indeed epic.
Immensely talented artist who will be missed.

Sad news. A great rock guitarist and, as noted above, was underrated.

I think I'll pay tribute to one the greats by playing Welcome to my Nightmare.

I'm reading Alice Cooper's auto Golf Monster and he talks about working with him. Very fluid and under rated guitarist, Alice had to have him on Welcome to my Nightmare after hearing his chop's on Lou's RocknRoll Animal. He was instrumental in writing music with Coop, him and Bernie Taupin were Alice's go to guys with Bob Ezrin for idea's and motivation.
