I have just took the capacitors out of this power supply, and I'm a bit worried about those brown-ish spots that formed around the connections, do these look like I burned the board? and if so, anyway to "fix" it? I have read that burning things is unlikely if you're careful because not many things in a power supply are not resistant to heat. But these definitely looks like burn marks, although some of the already existing connections look like they have some brown spots around them as well, but I'm not sure if they're the same thing.

I used a 30W iron to desolder and take the capacitors out, I am pretty sure I did not touch the actual board, just the connections.

EDIT: I decided to clean the connections with isopropyl just in case it was something superficial, it was, it came off and now the board looks green again. What was it?

The brown ring removed with alcohol is flux.
The solder on the green parts should be removed if it is close to other solder on the green parts. The green is the coating and won't conduct unless higher power but that one pete pointed out, I'd warm it up and move the solder off the green and back to the solder pads and then clean with alcohol.

That brown thing is the rosin core in your solder. It's there to clean the surface when you apply the solder. It's a good practice to clean it. It can conduct electricity (even if described as "non conductive"). Not relevant in a solid state power supply, but it can create oscillations and noises in some high impedance stages, digital circuits, and mic preamps. I always clean it, but it's true that some techs don't have that habit. I've fixed units where the only problem was dirty soldering.
