The member you asked the question to posted that 14yr's ago and hasn't been on AK in 12yr's.

Thread 'Polk Monitor 10 Stands, How to Attach.'

My Polk Monitor 10s came with the Polk stands. I've been setting them on the stands with a piece of non-slip drawer liner between them. What is the proper way of using the stands? The owners manual I downloaded has a picture of the stands but doesn't address how to attach them. Are they centered on the bottom of the speakers and attached with wood screws? If so should rubber washers go between them? I got them from the original owner, he never attached them. There are no screw holes in the bottom
