Do I need a Denon straight arm, or?

My DP57L has just the one straight arm. I’m waiting for my Nagaoka MP-200 cart to arrive and now I want a second arm/head shell for use with other “lesser” carts, (I have several) I would also like to use. Does my second arm have to be a Denon, or are there other options that will work well?

Thanks, I’ll keep a lookout on Buyee. I had never heard of it. The only ones I saw currently, are the same ones I’m watching on eBay. I have a couple that I like but they sure want a pretty penny.
I suppose I’ll have to wait for a “weaker moment”!

What about a second turntable to use with your other cartridges? If you get one with an S-shaped arm with detachable headshell, you easily swap over headshells/cartridges (after re-balancing the arm, etc).
 
Yes, you need another Denon PCL-57 or PCL-59 (they are interchangeable as far as I know). Or you could get Denon PCL-S (S-shaped) and simply use it with generic headshells.

A second TT would be nice, but that's going to be further down the road. I am curious now about head shell being removable on the S arm; I don't think that's the case with the straight?
btw: I'm still finding things. I have what appears to be a used Empire GT1000 cart w/o stylus that I'm looking at as perhaps my "secondary". I want some type of secondary arm/cart. I obviously don't have the S arm, but that would account for the various head shells. I have 2 Pioneer, (male) and 1 Yamaha, (female) In this "collection".
 
The S arms for many of these tables are hard to find for sale. When these tables were new high compliance low tracking force was the in thing. So many people only cared about owning the straight tone arms for those carts. Now people trend more mid mass moving coil which the S arms would be more suited for.

Very interesting! Is the head shell "removable" on the S arm, I don't think my straight arm's head shell is removable? Which one would be best suited for my new, (on the way!) Nagaoka MP-200 cart?

Okay thanks. It seems pretty obvious that it wasn’t removable, but it never hurts to ask, as I am learning. I have ordered a Denon S arm from a seller in Japan. Also, I purchased a
“ZUPREME 10G Headshell made in Japan” from LP Gear. I plan on using this with a Nagaoka MP-200…, I expect the arm and the cartridge should both arrive hopefully before the end of the month or else the first part of October.

I’m not sure. I’m awaiting arrival from a seller in Japan. This was listed as the standard S arm for the DP 57L and others: “DENON PCL-S Tonearm Arm S Pipe Tube for DP-57 DP-59 DP-60 DP-62 DP-67…”
