I doubt this Model T was his but there are quite a few photos of him posing with it. That's him gallantly helping my grandmother disembark. This car probably belonged to the woman driving it who may have been one of my great aunts. I always knew my grandfather as a loyal Pontiac man so I find it difficult to believe he ever owned a Ford.
More likely this was his: a 1926 Chevrolet. That's my grandmother, Ethel Bernice, seated on the front bumper. It's much easier to imagine my grandfather starting with a Chevy and moving up to Pontiac later in life.
