He is asking 55 but says he will take much less

I've has at least two tubey maggies with the exact same form factor cabinet. Of course, that doesn't guarantee that it's tubey, but...

It could have a couple of CTS 15" woofers in there, that would be correct for an Ampeg B15 or a vintage Fender. It could have a couple of Jensen RP109 horns in there, too. Add the Collaro and there's way more value in that box than what he's asking, even if it does turn out to be solid state.

I don't think that you have anything to lose, here, especially if you can get it for $20 or $30.

The tube console I posted above was a $15 score. If you get this baby, PM me as there may be some things I want like those lids.

high fidelity is a phrase these consoles stopped having when they went to solid state isnt it? that may not be WHY but, seems like you dont see that on SS, but its on every tube console ive seen, 'high fidelity' even portable record players with tube amps in them say that on them somewhere. (in my experiences anyways)

I'm looking at my Astro-Sonic right now, it's SS, and says stereo high fidelity on the tuner panel.

I asked the owner last night.... "Does it take 20 seconds or so to make sound after you turn it on and does it make a slight humming sound?"
He said he has another old radio and knows what i am talking about but this console does not do that.
I think that means its definitely SS
