Yes,I googled his name,he did Halloween records and the Maxwell coffie pot song.Mostley a jingle wrighter.Good thing the tapes didn't make it.The last thing I want to see is a Wade jingle antholagy.

Well,all the stuff from this big haul is gone.I sold one piece locally,that buyer
told someone,then that someone told someone,etc...Word spreads quickly.
In total I got 1600$,way below Ebag prices,but okay by me.I'm quite happy
with the Fisher and Heathkit tube audio I already have.I think the most fun was just finding/saving this stuff in the first place:thmbsp:

I wonder if the McIntosh pieces cleaned up ok. I'm guessing they were both highly restorable.

Ditto the Thorens turntable. I was actually interested in this for my Marantz system, bummer!

Dumpster diving!

I just read this thread and I can relate.... What a haul! :thmbsp:

My first EICO hf-20 came from a dumpster last summer, minus the power cord, (now that is sick!) Won a second one on EBAY for $235 and working on recaping them now. got me on the tube thing too! :yippy:
Same dumpster last October I found a smashed L122 Hammond organ and I recovered the amp and preamps, all the tubes were fine and it is playing right now as my puter amp. Second channel is through a Sears and Roebuck PP 6V6 mono. Nice sound from those two mismatched amps!
Second ao43 is from EBAY and on it's way now. I might build the two Hammonds into a stereo amp on a Hammond chassis or homebrew one.
Last year I found a D104 mic and it works just fine. few years before that I found on the curb a Kenwood 600 ss amp. Two new in the box SOVTEK 12AX7s along with a bunch of repair manuals.
Goes to show that people throw too much away! :scratch2: Pics soon...

Dumpster diving! PICs

Here is the EICO I found in the dumpster, came with the cage also... The second is from EBAY also with cage..... #1 is in real fine condition, #2 is good condition. There might be several years difference in age as #1 serial is 18883 and #2 is 39552. I am not going to restore them cosmetically but I will do what is needed electronically.... Questions to follow!
