Dynaco A25 vs. Klipsch KG4... value

Recapped my A-25's (easy) and they still didn;t have the highs I desired (rolled off). Not terrible, but kind of "meh" to me.
When I think of A-25's, I think of speakers hanging in the corners of a pub playing low volume with the occasional high volumes.
Traded to a friend for some 1980's Technic's "monkey coffins" I internally braced and swapped out all the innards with Infinity RSM components and EMIT tweeters. Much happier now.
Had KG2's for a year or two, Great cabinets (oak veneer) and decent sound. More bass than the A-25's, but not as tight, presumably due to the passive radiator design.
Swapping out the tweeters with Bob Crites Titanium's helped the highs but still ended up giving them to a friend.
Neither of these 2 way speakers offered as balanced sound as a good 3 way speaker.

Try the EPIs. They are my favourite amongst the speakers mentioned. Also, I was extremely impressed by a pair of KLH 5s I recently had. They might not satisfy younger ears, but then again, they might. It all depends how you hear and where your brain focuses. We are all different that way.

love l520, but couldn't get rid of Klipsch KG1 fast enough. Those Dhorns are painful. Never heard the a25, but have Wharfedale w25

L520s may not be the best sounding speakers but might be my favorite.
They are just tremendous workhorse speakers.
