Dynaco ST70 low bias - help needed

Iirc , Bill Thomas, an old time guru on Dynacos used to recommend paralleling 5.1k to the bias resistors to expand the range of the pots. A tweak allowing bias to be dropped enough to use 6L6’s. I looked but cant find the thread. Seems to me Latino wrote a similar thread.
But i did find one explaining the use of 1uF caps.

Wrong again, he replaces ,not parallels to address voltage drop after replacing selenium with a diode. Must have paralleled 10k’s to get 5k ohms equivilent

Im sure there was a post to run 6L6 by paralleling that resistor. The search is on.
