Curious.....What ever happened to Glen "Echowars"? Haven't seen him on here for many years? He was very active and the top dog on here

I think that his father with the same name passed away but I don’t think he has passed. He definitely helped a lot of us. Truly a legend. His recommendations helped me a lot while designing replacement boards for the Accuphase C-200.

Miss him for sure. He refurbished my 2 Sansui BA-5000’s back in the day. Got a chance to meet him at his house. Awesome guy !

He was very knowledgeable and helpful, probably one of the most knowledgeable / helpful AKers at the time. I don’t know all the issues which caused him to leave (or banned) AK, but it’s a shame to lose him. Hopefully he is doing well, wherever he is.

I met Glen at AKFest 2008 and picked up my 9090db. Still the best sounding receiver I've ever heard.

Wherever he is, he is sorely missed around these parts.

I miss him as well. He still has 3 of my Kenwoods. He stopped responding to my emails years ago. To be honest, losing that gear killed this hobby for me.

Wow. That seems strange. I wonder if anyone on this forum knows Glenn personally and can reach out to him directly. I designed some Accuphase C-200 boards based on his recommendations and tried to get in touch with him to thank him but no response. ‍
