Instead of posting I'd be driving.....I've been looking for a cheap Eico for years!
As I'm new to tubes. I can not say, as all my recent Fisher acquisitions are in need of resto. But I'd be grabbing that Eico, regardless.
Didn't see the Fishers. Many, if not all, Eicos were kits, so build quality can be all over the map. And some Eicos were really economy products, though many were well designed and with good parts quality. I don't know where this one falls, but it looks nearer the high end of their line, rather than the low end. But with any piece of tube equipment of that vintage that is not actually working at the time of purchase, there is a bit of the element of crap shoot about it. But the price is pretty low for something that looks promising.

The second is steep. The frist has issues. BTW tehre is another Fisher 400 in good condition for sale in Queens I believe. Asking price is $375.

An EICO ST70 for $60 is a lot of amp for a little money. That is a deal!
