I've often wondered why Radio Shack didn't become an online store---RATSHACK.COM? They could have killed it with hobbyists.

It’s been shown to be REALLY hard to transition from traditional retail to online. Totally different distribution models. While Target and Walmart do okay at it, you you’ll think that thy had the infrastructure to succeed, but the just seem to bump along. You just can’t bolt online onto brick and mortar.
Plus, as I recall RS, no one there really had any idea about what they sold. Just minimum wage jobs.
