Emotiva xsp2 ordered!

I’m considering buying one. First time in years I will have a pre amp in signal chain at all. I am looking into it for the awesome sub integration features. Not a big fan of the size or the fit n finish nor the lights, but I’ll live

I love the sub features , even better than the first model.
I run full size ‘stats ( acoustat 2+2) and thought “ hey , I have a 30 year old infinity ssw212 sub in storage , why not try it?”
I’ve read nothing but gripes of what a crappy sub it is, how difficult it is to integrate ,yada yada .
With the gen2 preamp, I was able to set crossover at 60db ( could do 40hz if I wanted ) and it sounds awesome , 100wpc of tube power driving stats , just a tad bit of 60hz and below sub to give heft “Enter the Sand Man “ never sounded so good.
I find myself doing LOTS of streaming ( Apple Music to usb input , built in dac) and it sounds real good
