Empire 2000 E/III Questions

I think those docs have probably been posted here somewhere. Maybe in the Empire cart thread. I'll have a look, but here's the link too, in case you're interested:

I just fitted my Empire 66 E/X to my Garrard Zero-100 in place of the Stanton 680E.V3 and I have to say I'm really liking it. Its got a better bass line than the Stanton had, and it hasn't lost the highs. The mids are a little weaker but its actually pretty nicely balanced. This stylus only has...

As far as I know, Empire never published frequency response graphs for the 2000E/I,II,III family.

Thank you all, it allows me to complete the information I had already found on the web. As for German, no problem for me, I live in Alsace, on the border with Germany, and we speak a little German too, at least a derivative, because our region has historically been several times French, then German, then French, ...
One point questions me though, what is the ability indicated in the table and what is the point of knowing it? It seems that it has something to do with the equipment of the past, in a way the vintage turntables, or am I wrong?
 
I am not clear what you mean by "ability" with regard to the table. Are you asking why there exists a need to know a cartridge's specifications? If so, it does indeed have something to do with "equipment from the past", i.e., turntables. Compliance reacts with the mass of a tonearm. Capacitance loading affects the upper end of the frequency response curve. Effective mass of the stylus gives hints about the stylus's tracking ability, and so on.

That said, the above chart lacks one or two important things: cartridge mass and coil inductance, which is why we've been measuring both in the very long thread cited by bolero.

Now, is the need to know any of these things of ultimate importance? No. Regardless, one mounts one's cartridge, lowers it on to a vinyl disc, and listens. C'est tout.

Thank you for your answer. I read somewhere that the total capacity takes into account that of the cartridge, the turntable cable and the junction cable between the cartridge and the shielded cable start. The closer you get to the maximum announced capacity without exceeding it, the better it would be in terms of sound. But you're also right, from the moment the diamond descends on the vinyl, we listen to the sound, and as long as it satisfies us in the ear, that's certainly the most important thing ;)
