I used to work in Bridgeport CT, rough neighborhood. I'd avoid bringing so much cash to that place.

You may be right, but NYC isn't much of a cake walk either, The price sure looks good, but I do not need a pottery wheel.

I lived in NYC for 28 years. It's a big place, most of it is very safe, even late at night.

Bridgeport CT on the other hand. I once called in a shooting, they showed up 30 minutes later, brought the k9 unit, left within 15 minutes. I collected all the spent casings, brought it to the police station, and they asked me wtf I wanted them to do with those.

I used to have to collect cash there. Wore Israeli made soft armor underneath my cloths every time. It was torture in the summer months.

I graduated for UB in 1985. It was a pit back then and not much better now I would imagine.

By the time the OP posted this I had already purchased this 698. It's in very nice shape. It has an Empire 1000 SE/X cartridge; now trying to figure out whether I can find a proper stylus for it as the hours are unknown.
