It's common for the surrounds to go bad on EPI-100s. I don't know about the woofers themselves failing, unless they've been damaged.

If the photos had been taken with the speakers on their backs, the fronts of the woofers wouldn't be sagging like that.

Surrounds aren't expensive. I if I had those, I'd give refoaming a try before trying to find new woofers.

First time I see this, woofers all cockeyed.
Anyway, if interested make an offer, I think you can snag those for 20.00$, or less, and find yourself repairable woofers.

Looks promising. I bet that one sagging woofer has a dislodged spider, causing it to tether off the tinsel leads. The cone looks intact. It's pretty rare for spider to come unglued or dislodged, but it certainly can happen, so don't discount them completely. GO GET 'EM!

Seller informed me last evening both cones are in fact dislodged from spiders and hanging on by their tinsel leads.

I've seen a number of EPI woofers where the spider separated from the cone due to age. Kind of a pain. Woofers may be salvageable. $40 is fine as they are, but it's not really that great. You can find a new set of woofers for $60-80 shipped probably.

I just got new woofers from Humanspeakers for my EPI 120C's (did a trade with a friend who came up from the US) so I have EPI covered in my quest for a pair all the speakers I couldn't afford when new. If they linger I might rescue them but my girlfriend isn't buying my "speakers make great insulation" argument
