I have really enjoyed a set of 200C's for quite some time. In my listening room, they are a little bit sensitive to distance from the wall behind them. The bass response seems to improve when they are "just right”, but this seems to be much closer than normal, especially when compared with typical modern floor standers (MA RS-6 and Tannoy Mercury V).
To my ear, they image exceptionally well for larger speakers, perhaps using their wide cabs like larger Boston Acoustics designs from the same design period?
I would really like to hear a pair of Polk 10’s one of these days!
Thanks for sharing the Great restoration project!
