EPI 250 Epicure speakers, worth $160?

The price of the Epicures is a bit up there, but they are in a very nice cabinet. If the woofers are recently refoamed and the tweeters work, they are probably worth the bucks if you like the sound of them. I really like the Brass highlights in the cabinet and the brass rings on the top. If EPI 100s are worth it then these have twice the drives. Now the price of the EPI 100 is all over the map cause some get em cheap and some buy at a price that is correct for the quality of the speaker.

the older epicure speakers are good things. Very relaxed and easy to listen to with very good bass response. The later series can be good as well, but it is all dependent on when they were made.

Either way, they are a very nice set from what I can see. As to American Acoustic....ahhhh nevah heard of them...
