Good luck. The good ones are $$$$, and even then, I really don't want extra AD->DA conversion. I ended up running all-analogue active crossover (good luck on finding good ones here also) and running DSP on audio PC spitting out to outboard DAC. Still good fun, this hobby.

I have a Dayton Audio DSP-408 and I'm pretty impressed with it. Dead quiet and very flexible. I found the (PC) interface very intuitive and easy to set up or make changes.

yep, I'm leaning sub but then which, then stretching to the best pair I can find.. cables, powered or passive.

i only need the sub/ dsp if I get these other OB speakers--> I dont have yet so.. so maybe just tripping for the fall of it all.

it's just that they sound amazing and are a massive value.. and im a sucker for value.

last week i was running a naim nova integrated into a pair o speakers, w an HD plugged in and inets.. had it so easy and was pretty close on sound.. the idea of running separates and then DSP.

i may hold off on the OB speakers all together, due to some recent amp/ tech woes. right now, I need a 40-60 w tube amp solution, more than an awesome OB build that adds more $$ gear needs and complexity to my roll. the money I'd end up spending on the low end support, would be easily 2x the speakers cost ;D

idk.

LOL, I have a pair of 15" "OB woofers" sitting on my floor, waiting for "only" some nice wood open baffles frames and extra amp/dsp. This hobby does tend to get out of hand..
