Well it is getting closer to the big event. I was wondering what day and time everyone is planning on arriving? Maybe we should set up a meet time at the hotel bar? I arrive at the airport at 3:45pm on friday I am not sure the distance from airport to hotel? Masterlu any idea how far it is? Anyways I can't wait to meet all of you and share some good times!!

Airport to Hotel is no more than 25 minutes. There will be a meet & greet at the Marriott Heron Bay 954-753-5598 Friday the 23rd at 7:30pm for cocktails.

Looking forward to meeting everyone!

I will be arriving about 2 hours before the event (my son is turning 3 on the 23rd) so I will be keeping my fingers crossed that there are no delays.....odds are good that it won't snow....but you never know up here!!

Enjoy the meet & greet and see everyone at the event!
 
I'll be an "on the day" arrival as well, as I'll be flying in on the 23rd. I'll be there in plenty of time for the main event though. I'm pretty jealous of everyone getting a head start on meeting & greeting - have one on me! :beerchug:
 
We'll be coming in on a flight due to land at 6:00PM. Hopefully there will be no delays. Our only bags will be carry on and it will be cleared through Customs at YVR, so any problems with luggage are prevented.
See you all as soon as possible on the 23rd!

We get into the Fort Lauderdale airport around 2:30 on Friday afternoon, the 23rd, and are staying at the Marriott Heron Bay. Really looking forward to meeting everyone!

Wish it was that simple, we have a previously scheduled event to go to but I am sure yours will be much more fun. Appreciate the offer though. :thmbsp: I am sure those not able to attend will read all about it afterwards and what kind of a great time everyone had at your event. :yes:
 
I'll be driving over from Tampa. Somehow putting in half a day at the office on that Friday doesn't promise to be very productive.:D

That's work for me -- Concord Airport outside Charlotte -- can't miss it; next to LMS.

1 passenger, no bags, 3 handcarries though (McIntosh Love for Music book for signatures, a camera & SPL meter ((haha)).:D

I have to admit, this Masterlu guy seems to be quite the audiophile. I’ve been lurking upon this site for awhile now and finally joined this year…a lot of expertise and information here…some great…some :screwy:. Master…how would one obtain an invitation to the festivities? I live in Palm Bay FL...just up the road. I’m not sure I could come this year (new baby) but I’d love to experience your system(s) during some future event. I was introduced to McIntosh equipment in the early 80’s when employed at Nicholson’s Stereo in Nashville as a repair jockey. Now I design military communications equipment. I couldn’t afford the stuff back then but I’m doing alright now:thmbsp:
