In my L.L.Bean 'Gear Bag'
Keys, wallet, Bic lighter, Pilot G2, small notepad, Sharpie fine point marker, DMC LX3 camera with 8GB card, 2 extra batteries, Gorilla tripod, 15' length of paracord, small carabiner, Pelican 1920 LED light, Chapstick, sometimes a Sony walkman radio for sports shows on AM. Like if taking the car for an oil change I hate the waiting room. Oh, and cheap LG cellphone. Streamlight 2AAA flashlight. CRKT Drifter folder knife.

That's what I have in the bag. I also carry a small Gerber folder on my person, and a hankie.

In my Forester there are loads of useful items. I could spend 72 hrs somewhere without a problem.

HP15C? Cool! I had one in college in 1983. I kept it running for over 20 years then eBay'd it and doubled my money. It's a great calculator. I carry a slim front pocket wallet, car keys, and a flip-phone. Sciatica prevents me from carrying a George Constanza wallet in the back pocket, ha ha!

Keys, wallet and watch. That's it. I avoid the phone like the plague. It's usually hanging around the house somewhere and I check for messages every other day or so. No media player. Occasionally carry my glasses. Usually wear them unless I'm working out.
