Can you just pop the cap off the f12 button ? That way it'll still be there if you need it ( probably never will).

Turning off developer mode in Edge only disables F12 opening dev tools for your browser session. It's still available for all other applications.

I'd hate to do that with my Uber-gamer, mechanical-click keyboard. The Q-tip works fine.

I only notice the issue when editing or posting in Chrome. That is when Developer Mode can get crazy.

My windows 11 computer is essentially just a music server. I found it works much better after getting rid of chrome and just dealing with edge. I still use Google to search.

I still use Google, too.

The Google Voice search is a good app, especially for tunes.
