Favorite Frozen Pizza

I've been on a pizza kick for the last couple a weeks and nothing satisfies the pizza loving stomach and wallet like a frozen one. Let's hear your top choices right now. You have the right to change later if you'd like. I'm also assuming there are some regional brands that others may not be able to get or heard of so that will be interesting.

1. Lotzza Motzza, Sausage/Pep
2. Home Run Inn, Sausage/Pep

Value - Jacks Thin crust, Sausage

Hard to imagine a decent frozen pizza as they are generally topped with spartan amounts of cheap ingredients whether they are the meat, vegetables, or cheese.

However the lure of a quick and easy pizza can be hard to ignore. Recently we had success with Costco Kirkland frozen pizza with cauliflower crust. And they were cheap, 2 12" pizzas for $11. Costco comes through again.
The crust cooked up with a crunch, not like a traditional yeasted dough. Existing toppings were not bad, but after adding more sausage, sauteed peppers and onions, tomatoes, and real parmesan, it was quite palatable.

For a quick pizza we often use a large flour tortilla. Partially cook until brown and rigid then add toppings of choice and put in a 425 degree oven.
A BIG pile of carmelized onions, blue cheese, and toasted walnuts is particularly good.

One of my current projects is a cast, light weight concrete, wood fired pizza oven that will be semi portable. New territory for me, custom pizza oven and yeasted crust. We will see.
 
I don't have an oven. Just a big "inverter" microwave. And a microwave can turn a frozen pizza into shoe leather. But two brands do very well and are good eating:

Wild Mike's
Sam's Choice Stuffed Crust
 
Our school pizza was not as close to Totino's as it sounds like most of the above were.

I did eat a fair amount as a child, though and for cheap and decent, it's hard to beat.
I don't care for the cube peperoni, and seek out the hard to find "standard" pep version.
Failing that, I get cheese only (or four cheese) and add my own peperoni, sometimes double portions.

We've also been on Frescetta thin crust and "Detroit" style.

Totally agree with your choices!
Ever since trying Brew Pub Lotzza Motzza frozen pizza I came across at Menard's about a year ago, I've only bought one Home Run Inn frozen pizza.
Brew Pub is made in Wisconsin with really, really good cheese and is hands-down the best frozen pizza I've ever had and is in many cases better than fresh, local pizza!!

The local store here will sometimes have Lottza Motzza for $6. They actually make three sizes of those pizzas a personal, regular size, and big.

The cube pepperoni should be illegal. My favorite is always the smaller pepperoni.

Pizza is like headers; some are better than others but all are good. Well, there was Sallys in New Haven, that was bad. That was a pizza,

Lately I've been getting Massa frozen pizzas made in Franklin Park. Vito and Nicks from the South Side does a good frozen and Home Run Inn is reliable and bears up well to fresh ones I got on the West Side. Connies is good too, another South Side pizzeria making a good frozen product. I dig Tombstones too; some working man taverns make them in a little toaster oven.

HRI, frozen, usually reliable and yeah, when i lived in SoCal, frozen Connies appeared and that was a tremendously uplifting moment.

Of course, none -- NONE -- of the above is available in France, but I have found a couple -- literally two -- both "margherita" style -- pizzas I can stand. Both are vended via local "Bio" specialty grocers -- "Bio" = "Natural" ~ "Health" over here. Bio this, bio that, bio bio bio ... it's gotten old fast.

PS: the MASSA sound great, sure wish I could get hold of an example.
