Dennis, I am loving these things. It took a while to get used to the different presentation - they are not giant horns by any stretch of the imagination! They're not "in your face" resolving like Edgarhorns, yet they're very smooth, and very detailed. They give me pinpoint imaging that I think will only get better when I've resolved my placement issues, yet the sweet spot is much bigger than the Edgars. These things are very fast, too.

Overall, I dig 'em.

Do they require a lot of break in time like the smaller Fostex drivers and other full rangers on the market?

I can't say. I'm the second owner, so they've had some hours already. I do think my power supply has settled in nicely, though. And I definitely hear a difference when my amplifiers haven't had enough warm up time - I used to be content turning them on a mere few minutes before listening time, but now I like a good half hour of warm up. And I leave the power supply to the speakers on 24/7.
 
Anything to add here?

You have probably nailed an ideal drive level on the field-coild supply since. Can the range of adjustment affect things enough to make them go frum mushy bass all the way to too lean? What about toe-in and back-wall distance, have you played with those?
