Couldn't find what I wanted so I made my own. These become married to speakers that do not have banana connectors. It enables me to swap out speakers quickly which is important when testing. The faster I can hear the next set of speakers, the better my judgement is. That is the theory anyway.
The female connectors were from the evil shamazon. I think I paid 20 Canuck moose-coins for eight.
Trimmed the connector. This makes for a better fitting shroud.
Prepared my wires. If you have ever thought about a wire stripper, then get one. It is the best thing EVER.
Be generous with your lengths. You can always trim down later.
This shows the connected wire and the big blob of solder. I am not giving a lesson on soldering, sorry.
Finally I heat shrink the parts using three different sizes. This tapers down to give a very snug fit adding some protection to the solder joint.
et voila!
