Feral Cows? Nobody Is Trying To BBQ Them!

it will take time to remove them from a diverse terrain

A couple helicopters, a few full auto AR-15's - should take no more that a couple hours, and feed the local raptors at the same time.

"a pack of pitbulls" Going after cows and bulls that weigh a thousand pounds. Holy ****! No hiking for me without packing some heat!

Time to set up a butcher shop and go hunting....

A helicopter would make it easy pickens and an easy method of transport...wild, no MGO sourced feed, no antibiotics.

The Parks and Rec people need to learn what an air rifle is that shoots darts....put the unwanted animals asleep and move them to another local !

See what you get when too many people go to college....

Milk cows are trained and the good ones are fairly tame.
Beef cattle are pretty wild...unless their trained by a good cattle dog.

When asked how she wanted her steak cooked, my ex said, "Knock the horns off, wipe its ass, and put it on a plate."

I met a guy from northern cal who was a professional hog hunting guide, who had arrangements on quite a few different ranches. He'd take clients out, and, was quite successful at it.
Then, he suggested how he goes about hunting feral hogs on his own,... with a friggin knife.
OK,... I **** you not, and, my friend, who I was staying with, grew up with the guy, and swore it was the truth. Then he showed me his arms, and they were all scarred up from the battles.
I was left slack-jawed, but, my friend, who I trust, swore they grew up together, and this is what he did.

I'm at the other end of the spectrum, and fairly boring in this regard.

This reminds me of my cousin's father who shot a charging boar with a 7.62 pistol. Two shots right in the forehead and it still tumbled forward the last five meters. It take balls to be a forester around here.

This is nothing but a sad attempt at deflection by the king of the porkers to take our attention away from them speading all over and destroying everything.Bring back as many licenses as you can afford to buy gets you tons of bacon .:)

Sadly there's no bacon on a feral hog.

I'm guessing he's had all his shots.

People in Cali are scared of them. Try to find one in NC or Texas. That's why we don't have this problem.
Not hardly. They'r scared of those people roaming around with the little embroidered emblem on their shirts.
