Feral Cows? Nobody Is Trying To BBQ Them!

I guess I'm never to old to learn something new.Still I see through the porker disinformation campaign as nothing but anti-moocow propaganda.

While I fully support pig rights, I must admit that the coverage of these animal related stories by the porcine contingent sometimes has a bit of a spin to it. Or perhaps 'curl.'

I have been thinking that everday should be Turkey Day! One day a year is too few to properly appreciate this national icon.

This post is brought to you by The National Council of Cranberry and Stuffing Manufacturers.

It must be hard for the turkey to know her highest purpose is to serve as a vessel, albeit the best vessel, for the proper cooking of the stuffing.

Hey
There are no feral cows ,chickens,or pigs, in the vicinity of kc. Sorry Mr. Pig.
We aren't prejudiced here. We are an equal opportunity bbq hot spot.
Sheep and goats aren't safe either.
Hey, wait a second that didn't sound right. On second thought never mind. Eric

Yea Eric, here in my neck of the woods, nothing is safe from being smoked & grilled. :D
As a matter of fact I smell something wafting through my window & the scent is unusual!
My neighbor has his smoker going full blast!

Oh wait, I think I see a group of pheasants coming my way with "Eat More Pig" protest signs! :D

I lived in Spokane for a few years. On the South Hill area there is a flock of wild turkeys that lives in the brush and park areas. They wander through neighborhoods eating whatever they want. The flock will often stand in the middle of the road. Happened to me once, where I was behind a late model Camero that just stopped while the turkeys were in the road. I had to honk the horn, if you move slow enough they will get out of the way. Self preservation is an instinct even turkeys have.

Honking doesn't work that well with buffaloes out in Yellowstone. They just look at you and go as slow as they damn well please. But you're in Yellowstone so you don't care.
