FINALLY! After a long search...Decent LP Shelving

Hey guys. Hate to bring back an old thread but these stands are great! I picked one up for myself.

From Target, about 10 minutes away. Easy to set up, very sturdy, and a nice color. I have a friend with an Expedit 4x2, and this is at least as strong/sturdy.

That is a great looking storage unit. I have 2 questions.

How many LP's per bin do you think will fit.

In your opinion, do you think the unit is strong enough to stack one on top of another?
 
If I were to get one of these, and turn it on it's side... could I skip putting on the feet and still have it look nice?

Are the feet attached?
 
$75 at Costco. Specs say 1000lbs per shelf for a total of 5000lbs. Very heavy gauge steel so shelfs do not bend. About 1200 LPs in it and shelves are as straight as a ruler. But no place for your gear.

Thanks for the pic. No need for gear storage. That's under the TV unit.

I can't tell from the pic, but how industrial does it look? I can't use 2 of these if they look like they belong in a garage. WAF is HUGE here. What kind of finish is on it?
 
It is supposed to be shelving for your tools and stuff in the garage, but doesn't look bad in a music room, but for $75 it's a steal. The finish is, let's say. semi rough, not completely smooth, powder coated in a very dark gray. The shelves have a heavy gauge steel frame, same as the legs, with very hard particle board centers, and they are adjustables. This one is 4' wide, 6' tall and 18" deep, and you can assemble it as one unit like I did, or 2 lower units, one with 2 shelves and one with 3 shelves. The back and sides are open so I cut some pieces of ready made shelves I had to fit tightly against the sides and I bought some 2X2s and laid them in the back against the legs as stops. For $160 or $170 they have a bigger one, I think about 6' wide and maybe taller. Check it out and if you are planning to get one take a buddy with you because the box weighs about 90 or 100 lbs.

Thanks. I'll have to see them, then decide. I like them, but I KNOW that won't be my decision. :D
