First time opening up my Marantz 2270, and it was a disaster. Help?

I think you going to need a parts unit (or that front panel by itself). I found this, https://www.ebay.com/itm/Marantz-Mo...597318?hash=item1ebdb24b06:g:AeEAAOSwnHZYTbny, but don't know if it would work.
Can someone compare the marantz 104 stud with a 2270 (or 2230, 2245)?
Take the feet off the case to remove the case and then the metal case. You should look everywhere for that part, box it came in, inside the receiver. Don't turn it on until you've shaken everything out or you could hear a big pop. If you find the stud make sure to use locktite blue or equivalent.
Ok so I opened it up today. Took it out the box and everything. Thankfully everything was easy and not disaster his time. Went well actually. I managed to find the stud. Hard a hard time putting it in again. So I got a hammer, and very gently, put it into place. Don’t worry a didn’t give a full blow or anything. A gentle hit. Which was enough to go into place. However I found the problem. The front panel that you mentioned, the bottom right is dented to the front. Which why the speakersphones jack appears to be way to up. I’ll post pic. Right now I’m just going to leave it as is. Because this seems like a. Much more complicated job. I just screwed in the panel right now.

Yes, it can be bent back. The problem is taking everything off and putting it back together (not the worst, ka-9100, au-9900) but pretty bad. Luckily it looks like someone has already been in there and loosen all the thread locking compound.
For archival purposes, who was the shipping carrier? UPS? Fedex? I think the fedex boys are too weak and the UPS guys are too strong.
