I would like to find a wood case for my Fisher 500s. Does anyone know what the model number was for this case? Is it compatible in size to cases for other Fisher receivers? Does anyone currently make new ones? Thanks!

500-S was strictly used in the '61 Coronet console (C-55). No case made available for it strictly speaking. It's the same size as the TA-600/800's which had a metal case cover.
Take the receiver to a wood-workers or cabinet maker's shop. They can sus out the actual internal measurements and build you case.
No commercial cases now that macintosh cabinets retired.
