Has anyone been watching For All Mankind? What an amazing show, about an alternative timeline, and a very different space program. I have to say, I very much enjoy it. It also has some very interesting, dramatic music underpinning it as well.

Gods of Finance for Hollywood. I haven't seen the season finale yet, as it is still downloading from a VERY slow server. I do know that it is a very expensive show to produce, with a budget a bit less than The Expanse. Ep9, threw me a loop with "discovery" on Mars.

I liked the first two seasons but didn't make it through the first episode of the third, an episode I thought...bad. And I never went back. But I might.

Its an Apple TV show - I've been watching it via an Apple TV 4K box (tho I don't have 4K TV, the 4K model is a bit nicer than the earlier models).

Sounds good and re: slow-starting S03, I'll manage to hang w/ it.
It's OK but a lot of the plot lines are lifted from elsewhere (i.e. the Martian). I also don't really like many of the characters much (I'm looking at you, Ed), although I get that you're maybe not supposed to.
To me the best sci-fi on TV is Strange New Worlds, which chronicles pre-Kirk Enterprise adventures.

You know, I will probably have to look into ST: Strange New World's some more. I watched several episodes, and I really didn't like it as it has completely abandon Star Trek canon. For me, the last watchable Star Trek was Enterprise. The adventures of Captain Pike in his cruise ship, complete with lavish cabins (with fireplaces, dining rooms, and the like), and the Michelin Star restaurants, are just too much... Pike's cabin, is much more realistic in TOS: The Cage.
I've really enjoyed the new iterations of Star Trek including Discovery & Strange New Worlds. The new Halo series on Paramount isn't bad but it did take some time for it to make sense to me as I had no idea what the "back story" was.
