A pair of ADS L810's in Santa Cruz... $300 is reasonable but not a steal. Look to be in good shape and they are the original Braun's which makes them a little more desirable!

You think? I'd take the last version from ADS over the original Brauns personally... the construction is much more refined, the drivers are fabulous, the woofer surrounds aren't foam, etc. My take is that they got better and better through the various versions, just IMO though.
Edit: I looked closer at the pics, those are aDs badged which probably makes them first version aDs, not the even earlier Braun-distributed-by-aDs version.
Can't tell about the drivers, if the mid plates have square corners instead of rounded they are Braun. Woofers look like rubber surrounds though, can't be sure of any of those details due to the low resolution.
I still like the final version with bronze metal grills & rounded corners on the cabs though...

Don't totally disagree... you are right that the 80's ADS models were more refined. I guess I'm talking more about the "collectability" and potential resale. The original Braun's seem to bring a better buck in the market. I guess it's because they are more associated with the "motherland".
