We had a "portable" i guess you'd call it as it wasn't a floor standing console, that was very similar. I remember barely being able to turn the knobs and having to use both hands as one just couldn't do the trick, i was just a wee lad.

Those old zenith sets are all point-to-point wired and are fairly easy to restore.
