I didn't do the challenge but did visit the restaurant. Here are my pics from my visit:

This behemoth 150 ounce steak challenge from the Duck Inn in the UK makes the 72 ounce Big Texan steak challenge look like a kiddie meal.

Calling Joey Chestnut... where are you?

.....DA-YUM....at my age now, I would do well to eat that closest corner.....

I see this stuff on "Man vs. Food" all the time, my question is what does the meal cost if you don't beat the challenge?

Looks like they just shaved a whole cow and grilled it.

We used to go to a restaurant in Utah called Theresa's Indian Village. The tables were in full sized teepees and you looked out on an electric campfire in the middle of the room. The ceiling was twinkling star lights and coyotes howled in the background. They had a 54 oz. steak for $50.00 but you received your money back and a t-shirt if you finished it. Too much for me to try. I can't even imagine the 72 oz. and up dinners.

One of the restaurants from "Man v Food" was the restaurant Steak & Main in North East, MD. Basically, you need to eat about 4.5 pounds of steak, including:

- 26oz delmonico
- 12oz NY strip
- 8oz filet mignon
- 12oz veal chop
- 16oz flat iron potato
- side of vegetables

If you eat it all in under an hour, the meal is free and they give $100 cash plus a tshirt.

Fail, and you owe them $140 for the meal.

Every restaurant has different costs and different prizes.

If you feel up to the challenge, there is a website for competitive eaters and it lists all of the restaurants that has these challenges by state.

Btw, there was a girl who finished the above challenge in 3 minutes 22 seconds. Unbelievable. For the record, Adam Richman lost to Food on that challenge.

Right as I was about to post "Only in America..." I see this. Just crazy! I'm a young guy but even I couldn't imagine.

To the OP: can you remember how you felt for the day or two following eating that massive steak? They never tell you what happens next...for good reason probably.

.....I wasn't kidding when I said I walked out of the place bent over, but it moved on through me as well as could be hoped for....this was coming back on a trip to California to deliver a load of ski boats....it was my turn to drive for 4 hours and I told the other guy to just get in the sleeper and I'd wake him when I was tired....8-9 hours later, we were at Jacksonville, AR, and pulled into the boat plant....I went home and crashed....I remember not wanting a steak for awhile :D....I want to emphasize one more time, I was 23, crazy hungry when I walked into the steak house, and have always been able to eat a lot.....

That lady was on "Guiness Book of Records Unleashed" on Spike a while back. She attempted the record at the fastest time to eat a 16" pizza but lost.

Competitive eaters are an interesting breed. Watching that, I kept thinking she was like a pack wolf gorging on a dead animal before others could get to it.

Wow is this lady an inspiration for zombies, she ate that steak like a zombie eating a live person. :D

Did you see the other video of her polishing off a 7 pound burrito in 2 minutes and 45 seconds? :huge:
