I have a G-5500, its one of the first purchases I made on Ebay a few years ago as I was starting to really get into Sansui stuff. I think its an excellent receiver, mine is in great condition, and has worked flawlessly. Has driven my big Infinity speakers no problemo'. All it lacks is power meters which are on the G-7500. I agree for the price its a great buy. That one on Ebay is a February '79 model. One advantage to a smaller G model (as compared to say, my G-9000, less switches, thus less switches to worry about that can accumulate filth and cause channel cut-out problems).
