The only gas wars we seem to have in my neck of the woods is to see what station has the highest prices. Best price I could find in our closest city yesterday was $7.14 per US gallon, ($1.899 per litre). It cost me 85 bucks to put 3/4 of a tank in our 08 Saturn Vue, it's just effing stupid right now!!!

Locally, almost everywhere you go, regular gasoline is $4.29/gallon where a major or unbranded. Diesel is about $6.49. She'll is usually higher, Sunoco "190" is $4.29, but not sure that's "regular-octane" regular.

When we were in the White Mountains of NH this past weekend, regular everywhere seemed to be $4.49 gallon. Virtually all the stations were Irving. In my parts thats "unbranded," just don't see 'em here...
