Gear rack/stands

I can't believe I'm typing this, but this past weekend, I finally pulled the trigger and began the final stage of this make over. I unplugged everything, took everything off the walls, moved everything to the center of the room, taped everything off, and am going to start painting the walls tonight. Ugggg, not looking forward to this! Painting a deep, dark orange color to go with the motif. Praying it all looks in reality like it has in my mind for so long. Wish me luck. Will create a listening room thread when I've got everything in place...all i's dotted and t's crossed. Thanks for the compliments BTW!

We moved recently into a rental temporarily while looking for something else, and rather than build or buy something that may not work with the new place in a few months I decided to use a wire rack that's been in the kitchen for the last 25 years. I may have to give it up again when we move but it works well and I may use one for another system in the future.

Hey everyone Im looking for some help. I am trying to find a stand/rack/cabinet for my gear. 3 issues, Im broke, I have a 2 year old, and 3rd, if at all possible I dont want to mount anything to my walls. I rent and its just more holes to mess with. I am limited on my DIY as Im in an apartment. My budget would preferably be $100. I keep an eye on CL but so far no luck except ridiculous prices on beat up cheap cabinets. If it comes down to it Ill probably build a pipe shelf unit like this:

Just really trying not to drill more holes in my wall.
