• The move to the new server is done. There are some software and database maintenance updates in process. This has us passing the hat around to help out. We appreciate any donations. Seriously, even a dollar helps. The payment page may be found here - https://www.audiokarma.org/support.html

Giddyup, it's the Saturday April 18th 2026 Spring FrankenFest in West Boylston, MA.

Been looking forward to this! Bringing the omni Walsh speakers I brought last time, plus a new, never-played-before, home-brew KSA-50 clone class A amp I built after being so inspired by the last FrankenFest... Stoked to reconnect with this community :)

Thanks to our Learless Feeder, Jim Blumenfeld, for another great FF. A nod to Bill Charlton and others for helping ensure a successful event. Some impressive demos, great deals, good food, and audio fellowship. See you in six months!

Thanks everyone for attending and supporting our event.
I have made donations to AK, World Central Kitchen and Doctors Without Borders.

I'd say our attendance this time was a bit more than average.

A few months back I got a message from an AKer in Los Angeles askinghow to put on a successful event.
I told him it all boiled down to building a community - something that we, starting way back with Frank we have been successful in doing.
We are lucky that these events are working out so well.

Bill informed me that the rent is going up for the next event by$50 but we are fine keeping the admission at $10.

Next event is Saturday October 17th 2026.

Keep on rockin'!

Jim

That might have been one of my fave meets yet! Great vibes, cool people, tons of bargains, and great tunes to listen to (and fancy equipment to criticize)!

That was fun! Thanks again to everyone involved in the logistics and those who schlepped stuff to sell and demo. A special shout out to folks that brought food and kept the gang fed. So many great choices.....including what seemed like a metric ton of pizza.

See you all in the Fall. Until then, stay frosty.

A school friend of my daughter just bought her first home and had a turntable on her list of housewarming gifts. Her cheapo bt table had gotten broken in her move. For less than the price of the TT on Amazon I was able to put together this neat little system all from the fest. Hopefully another wayward youth saved from the wretched clutches of bluetooth and wireless speakers and set straight on the road to real old honest to goodness HiFi.1000018996.jpg
