Good source for RT-707 Pinch roller

Anyone have any suggestions on where to get a replacement pinch roller Right Hand on an RT-707? Wasn't particularly looking for just the rubber portion unless someone has had a positive experience with replacing them. But I'm open to the idea. Otherwise, the complete roller is what I'm looking for.

I just replaced the rubber on my pinch roller -- ordered it from a vendor on fleabay - PIONEER REEL TO REEL RT-707 RT-701 RXA-759 NEW PINCH ROLLER TIRE. It is a quality replacement.
Now the process of removing the old rubber is labor intensive....cutting it away from the wheel does take some time....mine was not perfectly shiny but it was smooth and the new tire went on without too much effort.
What made me change mine was a very noticeable wow and flutter problem listening to some of my tapes that were recorded eons ago. One song in particular was the song "Be Near Me" by ABC - it was pretty bad. With the new roller it sounds correct again! $20 and some elbow grease! Not bad. I did put a bit of 0W20 oil on the spindle before I re-installed the pinch roller - I just dabbed a toothpick in the oil and touched the spindle with it.

Soaking the pinch roller in acetone overnight helps in removing the original rubber from the metal core.

IMG_2817.jpegIMG_2818.jpegIMG_2819.jpegI think I did, but here is the problem. In the Pioneer factory bag there are two NOS pinch rollers, but they are different sizes. I think the smaller one is for the RT707,701 and the bigger one, maybe RT909???

One vote in favor of Terry is that you'll be sure to get a pinch roller that is true round. I bought a replacement rubber tire for a Realistic deck and it turned out to be out of round. I don't know if it was my fault, the wheel was out of round to begin with or the rubber was defective. Anyway, going to send it to Terry. He did my 707 years ago and it's been good.
