Lee didn't mention it, but he graciously put up with about a 25 minute delay on my part, due to me getting caught in a traffic jam on I-75 north. I should have remembered that part of I-75 (from Barrett Parkway up to just past Hwy. 92) was #@&%ed up, frequently due to endless (as in, it's been going on for TWO YEARS!) road construction. This time, it was compounded by an accident (with a car that wound up not even looking like a car anymore!)... :sigh:
It's good to get up in that area (foothills of the Blue Ridge) sometimes. I just wish I could have found a way to do it earlier in the day... so I could have had better light for the scenery, on the way back (got dark before I got halfway home). Other than that, absolutely no regrets!
