It wasn't free, or cheap for that matter but how often do you get to find a nice Barzilay console less than 50 miles away!

No Mcintosh & JBL inside, but it does have a nice Sansui 1000A, Teac cassette and Dual 1019 (I think). There are some internal speakers the back which look like EV Wolverines of some sort. Nothing special, but cool nonetheless!

Tube receiver with monster iron !! VERY nice cabinet !!

How does that speaker setup work? I can't figure it out...

Wow, that thing is awesome! And a 1000A and a 1019 are supposed to be a great combo (My 1019 sure sounds great with my 2000x - Haven't gotten to try it with a tube receiver though). Beautiful cabinet too. Excellent shape. If that's your first 1019, I think you're gonna' like it.

Wow....nice piece of furniture there ....not bad gear too.:thmbsp:

Looks like you have a pair of KLH 5's....my very first pair of speakers.:thmbsp:

That thing is gorgeous. I'd like to be buried in something like that. I'm not a big guy, I'd probly fit if the folded me up just right.

Didn't take you long to find this, especially given it is in SUCH great condition.

Looking forward to hearing how you progress w/ it

I got lucky - right after I posted that WTB here on BT I went over to CL and saw the ad for this. It was a week old, and surprisingly they still had it. Probably because it wasn't priced particularly cheap.

I'll probably keep the dual in there and the EV speakers. I'm thinking I'll pull the Sansui and Teac deck out and replace them with small-ish tube amp with a DAC/Preamp.

I have some nice Barzilay speaker cabs that match it pretty well, so I'll eventually eWave those and have a system!
